Pop Star

Competition ride in Arizona

My daughter enjoys riding him bareback.

Star is a stunning chocolate silver dapple 4 year old Missouri Foxtrotter gelding. He is 14.3 H and has a great disposition. Star is easy going, loves to work, and very willing to please his rider.

Star has been extensively trail ridden for the last two and a half years throughout the bay area. He has over a thousand hours under saddle. He camped at Pt Reyes and high-lined. When out on trails, he is excellent at cows, bikes, streams, etc. He is extremely sure footed and well balanced, so handles rocky narrow single tracks with casual confidence.

This January Star attended his first NATRC ride in Arizona and placed 5th. This was his longest trailer ride (14 hours) and his first trail competition. In spite of his furry winter coat, he had no problems with any of the four pulse and respiration stops. Came in 4th in a subsequent Arizona ride.

His gaits are excellent. He has a big flat footed walk and excellent running walk for long distance travel, and a steady foxtrot. The lope is very slow and comfortable. It is my favorite gait and unusually easy and collected for a foxtrotter.

4 years old. 14.3 hands. $6,500
